Ninety seven-year-old Leon Carter and 93-year-old Mae Cater now live in an assisted living community in Mayfeild, Ky, after selling the farm they lived on their entire marriage of 73 years. Mae has bone cancer, and has to go to the hospital after any sign of illness. “When I married her, it was for a lifetime,” Leon Said.
